Sandoway Discovery Center in Delray Beach gives kids a chance to become shark scientists for a $5 entry fee. Hands-on activities include a fossil dig, learning about Hawaiian shark-tooth weapons and feeding sharks, alligators and stingrays at the facility at 142 S. Ocean Blvd, which is closed Mondays. Miami Film Month, sponsored by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, offers $8 films at art cinemas around Miami-Dade County in June. Creation Station Labs offer free 3D printing and robotics classes, music production, and arts and crafts at the Main Library in Fort Lauderdale, the Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs and the Jan Moran Collier City Learning Library​ in Pompano Beach. Phil Foster Park, at 900 Blue Heron Blvd. in Riviera Beach, is home to the world-famous Underwater Snorkel Trail. Beginners and experienced divers can see an abundance of sea life exploring the artificial reef, which spans two-acres in 6 to 10 feet of water.
