Product Marketing Manager
Hux is out to build the world’s largest marketplace for services. We make it easy to compare local service providers (tutors, house cleaners, babysitters etc.) on reviews, total price, pictures, availability and instantly book an appointment. We launched by connecting users to local house cleaners; now we are expanding into additional services.
Hux raised a $1.25mm seed round from Draper Associates (Tim Draper).
We’re looking for a passionate, customer-obsessed and strategic Product Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for development and execution of acquisition and marketing plans while playing a key strategic role in shaping our roadmap through competitive insight, market requirements and organizational growth targets.
This role is led by Alfredo Narez, whose experience includes: General Manager & CMO at Boom Financial (acquired by Digicel), CMO at Sennari (acquired by Qualcomm), VP of Marketing at Air2Web (acquired by Velti). MBA from USC and BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford.
As Product Marketing Manager you will…
Own consumer and provider insights. You will need to obtain and distribute a thorough understanding of the market, consumer and provider in relation to the Hux platform through the development of marketing and product requirements documents built on data-driven, actionable insights that inform product strategy.
Develop and refine brand marketing strategy
Develop positioning, marketing plans, messaging strategy and implementation
Cultivate community to drive engagement and create super fans
Increase engagement among target segments by managing and improving existing digital marketing channels (email, social, etc.)
Develop campaign budgets, conversion actions and drive actionable program recommendations
Own and monitor website traffic, transaction data, performance and trends
Provide regular reporting on progress towards key milestones and risks
Continuously evaluate and test new tactics for retaining users
4+ years experience in product marketing
Experience creating and managing multiple PRD/MRDs
2+ years online marketing and advertising managing paid social
2+ years experience at a high growth B2C start-up
Experience and understanding of all forms of marketing platforms such as digital marketing, site marketing, email marketing, social media, and others.
Highly proficient and proven experience with social media marketing mediums such as Facebook, Yelp, Twitter, LinkedIn, Yelp, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presenting, editing and copywriting
Marketing content optimization and ROI tracking experience
BA / BS degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Business, Economics, etc.)
Data driven with mastery of Excel
Quantifiable proof of success from previous experience
Bonus: experience with moms and families, creating content, managing blogs, and field marketing campaigns
