Registration is now open for the third annual Tactical Social Media Summit for Business, to take place Thursday, Sept. 27 at the TimberLake Lodge in Grand Rapids.
A number of sessions will be offered this year, including lessons on display advertising, creating an effective online marketing strategy, YouTube, analytics curating DIY video content and more.
Session one: Display Advertising: Get the Most Out of Your Campaigns
Join Stephanie Peterson, a marketing professional, as she walks attendees through an overview of advertising on the Google Display Network, recent changes that Google has made, and ways to efficiently use this channel to most efficiently meet business objectives. Attendees will learn the ins and outs of audience targeting options, ad type variations, and must-do optimizations.
Session two: How to Create an Effective Online Marketing Strategy
Whether you are just starting a business or you are a well-established company, marketing yourself effectively can play a major role in your success. It is important to build your brand, strengthen your online presence, and know where and how to maximize advertising dollars to attract and retain clientele. Session three: YouTube and How to Take over the World
Join Anna Anderson, CEO of Art Unlimited, as she provides a clear understanding of Youtube performance data, channel optimization and how Google is sharing your videos.
Session four: Analytics: Fundamentals (and more) of Google Analytics
Google Analytics can be one of the most effective tools for brands and marketers to analyze web traffic trends and user behavior, but learning the fundamentals can seem overwhelming. Join Dan Morrison, VP of Client Services at Aimclear, as he walks through key areas of Google Analytics, why you need it, how to get it and how to use it. Learn how to: Identify the right KPIs to track and measure; turn data into business insights; identify goals and events – what you need to know; and create custom reports and alerts.
Session five: Curating DIY Video Content on a Budget
The best tips, tricks, resources and practices for finding and creating quality, branded videos for social media. Join Blythe Warwas, a Social Media Manager for Art Unlimited, as she explores the value of video, Lumen5 slideshows, stock photos and videos, Canva, Facebook Live and captions.
